The house of Nostradamus is a place to visit in the town of Salon-de-Provence.
Located in the heart of the old city centre and at the foot of the Château de l'Empéri. This municipal museum, created in 1992, is set inside the house that Nostradamus bought in 1547 to found a new family with Anne Ponsard, of whom he had 6 children
The Chateau de L'Emperi is the monument to visit in Salon-de-Provence.
To assert their authority, the Archbishops built a fortified position on the Puech rock, in the heart of the Crau plain, sheltered by the Alpilles.

The Mossy Fountain is a magnificent curiosity to see in Salon-de-Provence, located right in front of the hotel. A real mascot of the town, the Mossy Fountain already existed in the 18th century and was a great place for walks and meetings for the people of Salon-de-Provence who came to enjoy its coolness.
The “Savonneries Salonaises” are emblematic for the city of Salon-de-Provence. In the 19th century, the exploitation of the olive tree oil and its trade were one of the major resources of the people of Salon-de-Provence. It is thanks to this raw material that the town followed in the footsteps of Marseille and began to manufacture Marseille soap.
